I have a pug dog who potentially could have breathing difficulties.Dean put him at ease before taking out to his van and did not cause him any extra distress. The grooming was quick and efficient and my pug returned in his normal manner, not seeming to be upset at all by the experience.

I have a Degree in Animal Management and also a career in the animal industry and therefore was very pleased to meet a dog groomer who was both knowledgable and skillful. I have just taken on a 4yr old cocker spaniel that has not been groomed in a long time, therefore covered in thick matts and knots and needing a lot of attention especially in awkward areas.. Dean was very professional, explained what grooming needed to be done and why. Dean was very good with the dog s nervous behaviour and offered excellent after care advice. I highly recommend Dean and will be using him on a regular basis.

I have a German Shephard who by his own vet's description is a 'big wuss!!' unfortunately due to my own health issues I can no longer keep up with his grooming, he was very matted in area's & his feet & nails needed a lot of attention, all I can say is Dean was fantastic with him, he went above & beyond with my dog, he spent a lot more time on him than he probably would normally do & did not finish until I had what looked like a new dog!! the cost amazed me as I have spent a lot more getting my dog groomed & a lot less service!! Dean made sure my dog was totally at ease throughout his whole expierience, I certainly will not be going anywhere else again & have already recommended Dean & Waggie's to other people....Thanks Dean

I have a jack russell who does not like having his claws cut,or anything else for that matter,waggies came up and gave him the full treatment ,he was very happy afterwards. So we were exceptionally pleased with the treatment he received. I was so pleased i rebooked for 8 weeks time. I would strongly recomend waggies to anybody.

For my bearded/border collie's 8th birthday I booked an appointment with Waggies. Barney is an epileptic rescue dog and therefore has some issues with life. Dean was absolutely fabulous in making sure that Barney was calm at all times as stress brings on fits. When Barney was returned he looked fabulous and smelled devine!!! Barney has found a new friend and Dean has definately found a new customer. I would not hesitate to recommend Dean's services to anyone who loves their dog. Dean came round to see my very smelly bassett hound and left him looking great and smelling fresh. I also have a jack russell who doesn't usually welcome visitors and can be agressive but Dean had him playing with him as soon as he walked though the door it was great so he had a trim too. Both dogs look great - would reccommend!!

Dean came round today to groom our 3 year old border collie Marley, Marley was a rescue dog so was not keen on the whole idea of being groomed at all! but Dean seem to make him feel calm and at ease, all in all and excellent service and Marley now looks and smells lovely. I would definately recommend Dean to anyone who is looking for a dog groomer, Dean was recommended to me and costs a couple of pounds more then some dog groomers, but the service he gives is a little more too... Dean came out today to pamper our 9 month old dachshund Miley.It was Miley's first experience of being groomed and she seemed very happy-Dean arrived on time and introduced himself to us and told us fully what he would do and he spent time with Miley before her groom as obviously she was a little nervous-we would totally recommend Waggies to anyone and have already booked Mileys next appointment for 6 weeks time-she smells absolutely lovely and her coat looks lovely and shiny.Thankyou so much Dean for a wonderful service,see you again soon.

Dean has just left my house after grooming my five month old Shih Tzu puppy Jack. It was Jacks first time and after spending time with Dean whilst filling out some paperwork, Jack was more than happy to enter the van for his grooming session. He returned indoors looking gorgeous, smelling lovely and seemed to have enjoyed the whole experience. Jack has made a new friend and I have already booked his next appointment. Today was mine and my Shih Tzu's first experince with a groomer. Bullitt is about 7 months old. Dean spent time geting to know him and asking questions relating him. Also he gave my husband and I advice through his own trained experinces. Bullitt came back calm, relaxed and happy. He was groomed and his nails were cut. Dean braved the snow and icey roads to fit in Suki, my 3 year old husky cross german shepherd, at very short notice on 08/01/2010. Dean spent about 90 minutes at our house, asked important questions about Suki`s health and socialised with her prior to grooming to put her at ease. Dean did an amazing job grooming Suki and getting her malting undercoat out. He also trimmed and shaped her tail and the long hair on her back legs, which was an unexpected bonus. Suki returned to the house looking calm and beautiful! I shall definitely call upon Waggies again and highly recommend the thorough and friendly service Dean offers to owners and their dogs.

I phoned waggies today just on the off chance as we normally bath our own dog in the garden but as it was so cold i thought i would try and find someone to do it ... i found waggies we have a 9 yr old staffy who has never been to a parlour before , dean said he was on his way home but he would come now if we wished , wow unbelieavable very proffesional Buddy my staff was very happy with dean , when he gave the dog back he smelt luvley and buddy really does molt especially when he has been bathed but not this time not a loose hair in sight ,, very impressed and will defo be using waggies in the furure , now oour dog and our house smells ovley just in time for christmas

Dean provides exceptional service. I have called Dean as our previous grooming services let us down at the last minute. Our dog does not take likely to strangers so we were surprised at the positive reaction to Dean. Dean definitely understands dogs and can make them feel comfortable and not stressed at all. The grooming was better than expected and our dog looked happy afterwards. This was not the case when using other grooming services. Thank you Dean for the great job.

I contacted Dean via a google search yesterday. Despite being fully booked through till January he fitted Timba in the same day due to a cancellation. This was my first experience of using mobile groomig and I was certainly very impressed! Timba is a 42kg Alaskan Malamute with polar bear like hair. I have just rescued him and having been in kennels for the last few months was in great need of a good groom and wash! Dean spent time going through everything with me then spent time getting to know Timba! After an hour and a half of grooming Timba came back looking amazing (although the inside of the waggie van looked like a White Christmas of White fur). I cannot recommend this service highly enough, Dean is extremely knowledgeable and knows exactly what he is doing. He even gave some training advice as Malamutes aren't known for their recall skills! A+ all round!

We have just had our two Labradors washed and groomed by Dean and I feel I must write a review to express our appreciation, and to reassure anyone thinking of using Waggies. We normally wash our dogs ourselves but they are strong and with my bad back, I always find it quite difficult. One of the Labs is quite nervous about her bath too. Well, what an experience when Dean arrived! He certainly made friends with them from the outset and with his experience from working with dogs, it was obvious we were on to a winner. There was no reluctancy from either dog to go to the van with Dean. They came back not only having had their bath including conditioner and a flea rinse they had also been dried and fully groomed, and ears, claws etc had all been attended to as well. All at one amazingly affordable price. They looked and smelt lovely and they had enjoyed it all too. I could not recommend Dean more highly. Fantastic professional attention, excellent customer service, (we were so desperate, he came within days at 8am for us!) and really great value. On top of that, and probably the most important, our dogs certainly loved the experience and have made a new friend. It's a 5 Star service!We've booked our next appointment already...

Dean did a first rate job of washing and clipping my male cocker spaniel. His van was superb and he put my dog at ease and boned with him before starting, something unique to Waggies. We will be using him again as he left our dog looking and smelling great.

We recently used Dean as our american cocker spaniel puppy was due his first hair cut. And all I can say is that it was the best decision we have made in years. An excellent service all round, with good sound advice given due it being our first dog. On making contact with Dean he went out of his way to come round initially to see if our puppy was of a suitable age and hair length. We have a 15 year old Westie who returned from a previous grooming very distressed. Having found Waggies number we spoke to dean whose manner and responses prompted us to try his service. As others have said he took the time to let our Westie get used to him. Dean did an very good job and took the time to get it right - the dog was not stressed or in any way affected by the experience. Used Waggies for the first time today, excellent service and great care for Rosie our golden retriever. The grooming was excellent as was the price, most of all Rosie was one very happy and contented dog. Dean must have a way with animals as Rosie who is normally a nervous dog seemed quite happy in his company. I would highly recommend Waggies to friends and family and I will definitely be using them on a regular basis, couldnt ask for better care and service 10/10

I think Waggies were brilliant and would definitely use them again. Not only did they come on exceptionally short notice, but also i had a 12 week old which Bichon not only is a small puppy but difficult fur to treat. My boy looked and smelled beautiful and was still happy to go to dean again after he was done so couldn't have been frightened at all. I will be using this service again many thanks.

As the owner of a large Newfoundland dog I have, in the past, found it very difficult to find a grooming service that can handle him or deliver the quality of service we would have liked. Those that we did find were extremely expensive. Waggies have provided an excellent service in both the grooming and making 'Murphy' feel at ease when being groomed. The service is excellent value for money topped off with pleasantries from Dean. I would recommend Waggies to anyone 10/10 Val Lewis.

I met Dean by chance in Sainsbury's Petrol Station in Fareham. We usually take our Irish Setter - Dylan - to a local groomers, but he's getting on a bit now (11 and a half) and doesn't particularly like going to be washed and groomed, so having Waggies come to us, at a time we wanted, was the ideal solution. Dean immediately put us (and Dylan) at ease. He is very professional and his van is a great, modern, bit of kit! I will definitely use Waggies again, Dean did a great job with Dylan, who came out completely unflustered and very beautiful!

Dean came round today to groom my 5 month old Cockerpoo puppy - who had never been groomed before. She was delighted to meet Dean, and he was perfectly happy for her to jump all over him as we completed the paperwork. Dean came round today to meet my 7yr old highly excitable long haired German Shepherd Dog Sula. As Dean introduced himself and was filling in the forms Sula made great friends with him giving him her toys and asking him to play! He took Sula out to his van and bathed and groomed her at first I could her crying (like a typical GSD) but Dean soon reassured her and she enjoyed her pamper session. We are very pleased with her , Dean has done a fantastic job and she looks lovely. I will recommend Dean to all the doggy people I know. Waggies (Dean) put Oscar, a Bichon, at ease very quickly and wanted to know exactly what we wanted for him. Oscar is usually distressed after a clipping and his skin irritated by the shampoo. Today he is showing off his new 'look' - shorter coat but not shaved - and is his usual perky self. This has been an excellent service and we will certainly make Waggies our first and only choice of dog grooming services from now on. Thank You Waggies!

Yesterday we used Waggies for the first time, to groom Leah our 3 year old long coat German shepherd. We were extremely pleased with every aspect of the service. Both our Shepherds loved Dean. He was very professional and knew exactly how to handle them. After the grooming, which was carried out with patience and was not rushed, Leah looked amazing and Dean was still her new best friend. We had decided not to have our 11 year old groomed as she is a little frail and rather grumpy. We have now decided that she will be fine in Dean's capable hands, so she is next. Our wire haired Parsons terrier was hand clipped for the summer as she was uncomfortable with the heat. Dean was polite and helpful and advised on the best way to groom our dog. It was the first time she had been clipped so was a bit nervous but he calmed her and did a good job.

I have a mad cocker spaniel who needed a real good hair cut, the person we used to use had vanished so contacted Waggies, Dean was great fitted us in when it was convenient to us, He turned up as agreed in fact he was early!! This was the first time I have used a mobile dog wash, Dean was very good with Koda my 1 year old white German shepherd who has health and behaviour problems, he knew what he was doing and how to handle the issues that my dog has. I was very impressed with the service offered. I have a crazy boxer dog - Buddy that does not like going to the grooming parlour and becomes very upset when its wash time! The gentleman who took Buddy took the time to play with Buddy first so he became familiar with him and was happy to leave the house with him. Buddy came back in a very happy mood and smelling beautiful just like a baby! I will certainly be using the service again and would highly recommend it.

I have a Northern Inuit, which is a large dog. He had not been groomed before. The member of staff was excellent with the dog and did a fantastic job. He also gave us excellent advice on how to keep the dogs coat maintained. He was very friendly and kept everything clean and tidy. We couldn't have asked for a better service and will only use Waggies Mobile Dog Wash in future.

My West Highland white terrier values her hair and nail clippings highly and no one will take them from her easily. Enter Dean who was not going to stand for any nonsense. Milly was never going to be easy but Dean prevailed and his firmness, patience and understanding overcame Millys fears and resistance. One hour later Milly came back washed, trimmed and blow dried. My two shiatsu's (Truffles and Henri)both hate the bath and having their hair cut decided to give Waggies a call and was impressed with Dean the moment he arrived at my house.
